Pepe likes to implement kaizen through lean and Kanban, He enjoys talking with people, understanding problems, and helping to create a more enjoyable workplace for workers. His goal is to start from where they are, and search for improvement in an evolutionary way. An improvement of 1% each day, that will make you 37 times better each year.
He is a certified Accredited Kanban Trainer and Lean Coach. He has been a teacher for high school, college, and master degree mainly in agile project management (Kanban, SCRUM), risk management, innovation techniques (TRIZ, six thinking hats, and lean startup), office tools (Microsoft and Google), introduction to programming skills (Scratch, App inventor). He is working now as a Lean Kanban Coache at Local Agency for Education and two SMEs (A mining provider company and a Local Ice Company).
He was Coordinator of the Software Engineering Master Degree at the Research in Mathematics Center (CIMAT). As a Coordinator, he helped the organization to certify two times the Master Degree in the National Register for Quality Postgraduate Programs (PNPC). He was the thesis director from some students, mainly in Agile Methodologies and Innovation Management. He was Project and Service Management Teacher for the students and I could practice several Agile Methodologies Techniques along these years, both in private companies like in class.
He helped to create and to manage innovation projects (10 projects), mainly, Software and IT companies to get resources from government programs to help them to develop capacity and being more competitive (PROSOFT Economy Agency Program, PEI National Science and Technology Council (CONACYT).
He was certified as an ISO 9000 auditor, and he helped three local government agencies (Local Agency for Administration, Local Conciliation and Arbitrage Council and Local Council for Immigration) as an ISO consultant, to be certified in ISO 9000.
